Master of Marketing (MMKT)  is a fast-track and hands-on master’s degree programme that specialises on building career in marketing and branding. By spending a minimum of 2 normal semesters and 1 special semester in a duration of 1 year, students will gain both academic and real-world experience of current marketing theories, refine you marketing research skills, analyse marketing data using appropriate statistical tools, and create workable solutions to an ever-changing fast pace marketing issues. Students will be taught and supervised by experienced academics who are expert in their respective areas such as branding, marketing, consumer behaviours, integrated marketing communications, services, and retailing to name a few.  Intake is once a year in September, thus make sure you reserve you place today in the prestigious University Malaya Graduate School of Business.

Students graduated with MMkt degree will have a wider career choice in marketing from analysts (i.e. dealing with data) to customer relationship (i.e. dealing with customers). MMkt degree can also serve as a stepping stone for holders to further their career in academics. Else, holders can also pursue other career opportunities that suit their preference, competencies and abilities attained.

Courses are divided into two categories: core and elective courses. In addition, students are required to undertake a research project in an area of their interest. The design of the courses and components allows students to maximise their learning and develop the skills that are essential for their career development. Students are required to take a total of 42 credits as follows:

Applicants for the programme should posses:

  • A bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum CGPA 3.00 out of 4.00 or an equivalent from a recognised university;
  • At least a band 6.0 for IELTS or a minimum score 0f 550 for the paper based TOEFL (for internatinal applicants)

The University processing fee is not refundable.
